Falmouth Bay Test Site (FaBTest)
Falmouth Harbour Commissioners has entered into a collaborative arrangement with Exeter University supported by companies in the local supply chain to provide a test site for marine energy converters in Falmouth Bay.
Testing of Wave Energy Devices
The Falmouth Bay Test Site (known as FaBTest) was leased from the Crown Estate and licensed by the MMO for the testing of wave energy devices in 2011. FaBTest has its own web site which gives full information about the characteristics of the area and live wave information.
