Falmouth Harbour Commissioners is a core member of the Fal Estuary Marine Safety Committee which is a body made up of harbour authorities and other relevant bodies with the sole aim of improving safety within the Estuary.

The Marine Safety Committee recommends training for those responsible for navigating craft within the Bay and Estuary even where such training is not mandatory. Useful links for training providers are below.

Whilst we monitor activities in the harbour area by a number of means including regular patrolling, we cannot be everywhere and rely on harbour users reporting incidents or unsafe practices that they see. Report an incident or unsafe practice.
